NCC (Army Unit)
National Cadet Corps in Charampa Mahavidyalaya, Charampa, Bhadrak was started in the year 2021 with a sanctioned strength of 50 cadets (SD/SW) in Army wing under 7 Odisha Batallion NCC, Bhadrak. NCC activities in our college have evoked much enthusiasm among the students. Cadets are actively indulging in all NCC activities to make our college proud.

The Charampa Mahavidyalaya has raised the new NCC (Army) Unit on 16.11.2021. The Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. K. Santa Singh was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Other NCC officials from 7 Odisha battalion have been visited on the Raising Day of New Unit at Charampa Mahavidyalay on 16.11.2021.

MISSION AND VISION OF NCC:
The mission and vision of our NCC wing is to create awareness among the student community regarding its importance towards nation building. Besides, an NCC cadet is presented with a plethora of job opportunities in reputed government and public sector concerns. We intend to train students to participate in the Republic Day parade and pupils exchange program. Charampa Mahavidyalaya NCC Army Unit contributes to the overall personality development of a cadet and mentally equips them to face the various challenges they may encounter in life.

MOTTO OF NCC:
"Unity and Discipline (Ekta aur Anushasan)" The need for having motto for the Corps was discussed in the 11th Central Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting held on 11 Aug 1978. The mottos suggested were "Duty and Discipline"; "Duty, Unity and Discipline"; "Duty and Unity"; "Unity and Discipline". The final decision for selection of "Unity and Discipline" as motto for the NCC was taken in the 12th CAC meeting held on 12 October 1980.
