Scholarship
Scholarship and Awards by the Institution:
Different type of scholarships are granted to the deserving students under following schemes by the Central and state Government and the benevolent public.

Junior College Merit Scholarship:
Awarded to the students on the result Annual H.S.C. Examination. Selection is make purely on merit basis and it is done by the State Government.

Financial Assistance of Rs. 40.00 per month is also available to the students securing 70% or above in the H.S.C. Examination.

Govt. of India merit scholarship for children of Primary and Secondary teachers. The students must have obtained a first class with at least 60% marks of the H.S.C. Examination.

Senior College Merit Scholarship:
Awarded to the students on the result of Annual +2 Arts/ Science Examination. The scholarship is purely on merit basic.
Stipends to the children of freedom fighters who passed the last H.S.C. +2 Arts/Science are eligible to apply for this stipend.
Govt. of India Post Metric Scholarship to the S.C. and S.T. students are also available and the same is distributed by the Collector of the District.

Book Grant:
Under the scheme of educational concessions to the children and dependents of ex-service personnel, financial help is given by way of book grant value of the scholarship is as detailed below. +2 Stage Rs. 40.00 p.m. +3 Degree Rs. 50.00 p.m.

Scholarship to the Blind, Deaf and Orthopedically Handicapped students:
1. A candidate applying for scholarship under the scheme should be citizen of India.
2. Shall be blind, deaf or orthopedically handicapped.
3. Should be between 13 and 30 years age.
4. Should have secured at least 40% of marks in the previous Annual Examination.

Stage Govt. stipends to be awarded to the orthopedically handicapped students in the post matric stage on the basis of marks secured at the Annual H.S.C. or H.S.S.C. secured at least 40% of marks and should be within 30 years of age. The value of the scholarship is Rs. 30.00 per month.

Govt. of India scholarship to students from non-Hindi speaking states for post matric studies in Hindi on the results of H.S.C. P.U., H.S.S.C., Intermediate, +3 Arts/Science/Commerce examination. The main object of this scheme is to encourage the study of Hindi in the non-Hindi speaking states.

Value of the Scholarship:
+2 State Rs. 50.00 pm +3 Degree Rs. 75.00 pm National Loan Scholarship Scheme; Available to students inside India only and awarded to students for prosecuting higher studies in the recognized full time course of education at the post-matric stage. Awards are made on the result of any of the qualifying examinations conducted by the Board of secondary education, C.H.S.E., Orissa, P.M. University. Detailed information regarding any of the above scholarship, stipends is to be had from the scholarship section of the college office.
